HA Jewellery Designs was started in 2008 by Helen and Andrea in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. We both love jewellery, but are put off by the cost and poor quality of mass-produced pieces. We decided to try making our own necklaces, and found that we could make something beautiful for a fraction of the cost. When family and friends began to ask us to make them something special, we decided there was definitely a gap in the market. Mass-produced jewellery comes in standard lengths, and people certainly don't come in standard sizes! We make designs of many different lengths, and are always happy to alter a piece to suit a customer.

We particularly like semi-precious stones, which are said to have particular properties for the benefit of the body and mind. Our semi-precious designs often include high-quality glass beads to add sparkle and interest. We use only good quality materials and we buy from distributors based in Britain. We use strong 7-strand nylon-coated jewellery wire, never thread, and use either Sterling Silver or silver-plated findings for all our jewellery. Our earring findings are all Sterling Silver.

We keep our prices low - we know only too well ourselves that economically, times are hard. We want our customers to be able to buy something beautiful, just for them, without feeling guilty about it. All our necklace designs are unique - we are careful not to make copies. When buying from a chain store, you know that hundreds of other people are wearing the same item. When buying from us, you will always be different.


We sell mainly through private parties, at craft fairs and sales, and online. The photographs on the site are examples of our work - many have already sold. If an item is not marked as sold, you can purchase it from the site. However, if that item has subsequently sold by the time we receive your order, we will contact you and arrange to create something similar for you.
